Martin's Updates
Thank you
Thank you so much for everyone that entered, helped, took part in or donated to yesterdays event. I am overwhelmed with the support received. So far there is £2405 on my own https://tccl.charityhive.co.uk/fundraising/martin-harris page, with £300 to go in for the Mark Stewart jersey and over £300 on the day donations directly or for cake & clothing. I know Stewart Lennon and William Lewis both set up their own TCCL donation pages raising over £460 between them, thank you. All of your entry fee has gone to the charity, myself as Pedal Motion will cover track hire and event registration. Leisure & Culture Dundee have reduced the costs of track hire. Thanks to Mark Stewart & Alfie George for the donation of signed jerseys. Green Jersey UAE Tour - Craig Grieve Sopkes Cycles Amstel Gold Tour of Rwanda - Ross Duncan - most laps Green Jersey Fraench Stage race - Nadine Rielly - most laps Entrants & Volunteers draw - Mark Reid (I think) TCCL Donations - Niall Till Commonwealth Games jersey - 50/50 Cillian Sweeny Attached are copies of the results, these can also be viewed on line with options to drill down at: https://sporthive.com/events/2569749 or https://sporthive.com/events/2569743 Thank you all, I know Sophie enjoyed her day. Still time to enter
Feeling humble with the support raised so far. Thank you so much. Still time to enter, the 50/50 is suitable for any age or ability. There will be cake! https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/events/details/296527/400-in-4---Charity-Cycle-Event-100-Miles-in-4-hours
Freewheel bikes
Just to confirm, road bikes will be the best bikes to use. You certainly do not need a fixed wheel track bike!
Only two weeks to go
A lot of shown interest, but hopefully this will turn into actual entries! Come a long and ride as many or few laps as you wish. Safe traffic free environment, sure to be plenty of cake available. Entries as solo rider or teams of 2/3/4 can be made here: https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/events/details/296527/400-in-4---Charity-Cycle-Event-100-Miles-in-4-hours There is an opportunity for a relaxed 50 laps in 50 minutes target, suitable for all ages. Thanks to donations from Mark Stewart and Alfie George, there are jerseys available. All those who donate to the page will be entered for a draw for one of the jerseys. The rider completing the most laps will also be awarded a jersey
